When I was shopping for a boat, I considered a Kaiser Gale Force 34 as
an alternate choice, wound up choosing the BCC, among other reasons,
due to my preference for a smaller boat. I would be curious to know
what other boats in the that size range people on this board like.

I had considered the Kaiser Gale Force as well. Among other traditional
heavy displacement cutters I had looked at the Cape George 31 and 34…used
of course.
The Crealock 34 was a consideration but I was set on the full keel and
attached rudder as criteria I could not compromise on.

The Gale Force was a wonderful boat. I sailed one to Bermuda about 20 years
ago. Very solid and well thought out. Actually reminds me of the BCC. Just
not as pretty
