Honda 2hp

Mark,
Thanks for yours ande veryone else’s response to my posting. Do you use
the Honda 2hp to push an inflatable? Does it seem to have enough push in
moderate wind or chop? I’m leaning toward this engine because of its light
weight (28lbs).

Honda 2 hp seems to be the preferred aux power for the Montgomery 15, displ 750#

Wayne, I have owned the Honda 2Hp for about 6 years. It is a quiet, strong
and reliable motor which I highly recommend. I use it to push a Achilles 8’
inflatable which has an air floor and keel. With two people , it moves
nicely through even moderate chop with no problem. It has always started
with one or two pulls, even after being stored for the winter. Good luck
Sincerely
Mark “Itchen”
