JRC RADAR

If anyone has experience with JRC radar units, would you be kind enough to tell us what model, years of ownership, how often used, and whether you would purchase another JRC unit? Also include your sailing area.

I had an old unit, vintage 1973 . It was a beautiful and reliable piece of electronics that lasted until I sold the boat in 1993. I'll bet it's still working today.

My boat lived in Southwest Harbor Maine and the radar was used constantly because of the fog

Try the October edition of Cruising World. JRC radar is compared with others.
