Rick and I (Connie) have been living aboard Tyree since we bought her
in Dec. 2002. She was previously owend by Gary Alpaugh, under her
previous name Mintaka II. Gary sailed her many miles, and took great
care of her.
Tyree, is a awesome sailing vessel, and a wonderful home to Rick our
dog Pine and me.
After spending our first winter aboard in Port Townsend,Wa,(which we
call home)we poked around the Gulf Islands and have wintered in
Sidney, B.C. this year. We have upgraded the electrical system and
have done some more sprucing up on Tyree. Our plan is to head up the
“Inside Passage” in the spring. Then on to warmer climate for next winter.
