I am planning a six month trip to Mexico and am looking for medical insurance that will cover catastrophic medical problems only. Does anyone have experience with this?

Wouldn't plain old travel insurance do the trick? I have the name of a company that did right by my family
over a nine month period if you need it. They are based in Australia, have numbers all over the world and
are reasonable.

Hello Wayne,
I don’t know anything about insurance, but I wish you a pleasant
cruise! Whereabouts in Mexico are you planning to go? I can’t help but
ask if you are in need of any crew help going down the coast, even if at
least part way?
I am still planning to purchase a BCC, used or new, but I must wait most
likely at least another two years before a slip large enough for one
becomes available in the Monterey City Marina (unfortunately there is
really no other practical moorage alternative).
