Hi Rod, lets chat, I can help brian@bviyachtsales.com
I faced the same thing when I had my BCC built in Costa Mesa and wanted the boat in Virginia. Considering time, sea trials, diesel fuel, transit fees, dockage, living expenses, and all the other stuff, I decided to ship it all the way across the country. I believe I paid something like $5K, but that was in 1996. I’d probably do it again.
Hey Rod, what part of the Florida Panhandle are you in? I’ve got a BCC in Pensacola if you’d like to see one.
Note: Not trying to sell her, just saying that they can be hard to find if you want to see one in person. ![]()
You are very kind. I think I will take you up on that! I have one I have my eye on up on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake. I’m probably coming down to Pensacola, however within the next 10 days because I’m going to do a small project for a guy I have done Brightwork for in the past on his boat at Seville, Harbor. I would love to meet a BCC owner and see your boat. In what marina are you located?
I’ve got her in Island Cove, about 10 minutes from Seville Harbor. You can drop me an email … my user name @ Gmail. We can set up a visit while you’re here, as long as you can forgive her being a bit cluttered at the moment. ![]()
