Rudder on Canadian Built Bristol Channel Cutter

Does anyone know how the rudder of a Canadian Built Bristol Channel Cutter is constructed, i.e. solid glass, two thick "clam shell"  halves, metal core, etc.
Thanks,
Rod

The rudder on my Vancouver BCC is built of laminated solid wood(mahogany I
think). I have it varnished down to the waterline.
