BCC28-72 Calliste and BCC28-116 Zygote made rendezvous at Marina Batu Uban in Penang yesterday (22 Feb).
Douglas, on Calliste, left at first light this morning (23 Feb) to continue motoring south to Singapore (another 7 days perhaps) where he will repair the damage suffered in the 26 Dec 04 tsunami. First time I had seen the damage: quite a scrotum-shrivelling sight.
Douglas and Calliste expect to be back at Batu Uban in around 6 months’ time.
