I’m interested in how owners have set up their topping lifts. Did
you use one of the three masthead sheaves? Or did you rig a separate
sheave off the aft end of the mast head? How was it attached?
On our previous boat, the topping lift was a vinyl-covered wire with
a small block at the end. Adjustment was made with a line on the
boom that ran through the block. On that boat, the line ran through
the boom. On a BCC, I think it would have to be external. It could
be located on the port side of the boom.
Any comments or suggestions?
