2x Ronco B337 Install - 1.5" Bridge Clearance Question (Urgent)

MRGEARHA does your aft tank actually have a vent? Or are both the B337 tanks sharing the one vent on the front face?

Yes, the aft tank has a vent. I just checked. I am 100% certain. Both vent lines then join with a t-fitting, and a single line continues to the cockpit. If you have a vertical tank under the engine, the vent for that tank will join to the single line, also with a t-fitting. By the way, you are a courageous guy. I just looked at your website.

Thank you. Could I confirm exactly where that vent is on the back tank (not the wedge tank)? Is it on the top surface, back centre, as in the original drawings? I’m just trying to work out if fittings will fit on the top with that 1.5” gap so I can confirm my order with Ronco.

Both of the tanks have the vent in the same spot, on the vertical side, about an inch down from the top. On the front tank, its on the front right. On the rear tank, its on the back right. On that photo showing the front tank, the blue line goes up 90 degrees, then back 90 degrees. On the rear tank, there is no bending, the line just goes straight back. In the photo below, you can see a hole in the bulkhead at the rear of the tank cavity. That is where the rear vent line pokes through. Just after that, in the open air of the bilge, it joins with the other vent line with a t-connector.

Thank you for that information. It’s been very helpful in finalising the specs. The vent marked on the top surface of the diagram has been a major cause of confusion.
