3 Blade Max Prop

A question for those of you running Max Props
What is the length of shaft showing between your Prop and the Cutlass?
Not worried about tip clearance, more worried about proximity to rudder.
I have searched for info and pics with no joy
Keen to hear your ideas before I cut into my shaft

Might be good to make at least as long as you can fit a lead anode around the shaft. I have an anode at the end of the max prop which is great but only lasts about three months. The split ring that screws around the shaft might be a useful help, also depending on where you sail sometime a line cutter might be useful. In Maine the lobster pots were like a carpet. Snag a line and the damage might be up the line and create some big problems.

The max prop is actually the only one that I found that would fit in the space of the BCC. Max prop should be able to send you a paper template so you can see exactly how much room you will have. If your zinc is only lasting three months, you may have something else going on. My boat was in the water continuously for two years and I only changed the zinc once, and it still had plenty of material left on it.
