I’ve got a Bristol Channel Cutter that was owner finished and after sailing her for 8 years I somehow lost interest in sailing. She has sat in her slip for about 4 years and is in need of a complete refit. I woke up the other day and realized that I’m too old to take on this project. Whereas I don’t intend to give her away I just don’t know how to put this on the market without going through a broker. I really don’t want to spend the money necessary to do that though. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Doug, there is a “for sale” section here on the forums. Do you have a web site at all where someone like me can link to? Or if you have some good photos I would be willing to put her on my blog. It gets a lot of traffic also. there are a number of sites where owners can do listings. Try latitude 38 too.
Hope that helps. Sorry to hear your moving on. But it does happen. Hope you have some grand memories.
Thanks for telling me about the “for sale” section. I just put it in there and I guess it’ll show up after the moderator approves it. I don’t have a web site and the pictures I have are a few years old, back when I sailed her.
