Another virus warning (:

Here is a copy of an email I recieved this morning. Don’t worry I
didn’t copy the attachment itself. This is the second in about a
week, although this one is from a different source. There is a new
virus type that mimics known email addresses and messages so it looks
legitimate. I ran a virus check and Norton says it is the bugbear
virus.

I got bugbear a couple of months ago and it crashed my computer to the point that I had to buy a new one.  I needed a new one anyway, but it was very destructive and also very difficult to eradicate.  When it was gone, nothing worked right again.  I also got it in an attachment from this list (BCC) but Norton caught it before it did any damage.  I really recommend everyone get their virus definitions updated weekly, if not more frequently than that.
