August Dame Hull No #58 1981 for Sale 89K Annapolis MD

This brings me to our special offering “August Dame”. Her owners were among those original sailors who fell in love with the BCC. In 1981 hull number 58 “August Dame” was launched when the Sam L. Morse Company was thriving. They’ve owned and loved and cared for August Dame for 28 great years! It is a charming tale of a great family relationship. There is something, just something, that makes each BCC special. It’s as if the soft gleaming teak joinery and glow of bronze has something to say. There are boats with real “spirit” and this is one of those boats. You will know something of August Dame’s soul as you sit quietly in the beautiful surroundings. She’s a real boat!

August Dame is in very good condition as she has been loved and cared for and constantly upgraded. Most importantly she has been sailed! Boats love that. She has a new Yanmar 3YM30 that is absolutely beautiful! She received an new Garmin GPS Chart Plotter in 2009! Her new Frigoboat 12v refrigeration system is fabulous and she has five batteries all well installed to give her 338 amp hours for the house bank!

August Dame is a BCC that is prepared to go cruising! There is nothing prissy about her. She is ready to go to work. Her bulwarks are painted with two-part epoxy! There are covers for the teak hatches. She’s equiped with great ground tackle, storm sails and a life raft. She has an Achilles inflatable roll up dinghy and outboard engine. She has a great sail inventory, spares galore, and a Monitor windvane steering system. You can pretty much just show up with food and go to the Bahamas or the Caribbean.

It is a great pleasure to offer a Bristol Channel Cutter from the 80s that is affordable and ready to go cruising! Give us a call right away on this boat. The full specs and pictures are coming as the boat is being polished up for you in Annapolis.

Come and get her. We’d love to help you untie the dock lines!
