The "Macnab is a 71/4 ton,28 ft.(LOD),40 ft.(LOA) Gaff Cutter.She is hull #52 in the line of BristolChannel Cutters built by Sam L.Morse and designed by Lyle Hess.Launched in 1985.
She carries a working rig of 583 sq. ft.in jib ,staysail ,main and topsail.Also in the locker is a second twin jib for downwind work and a 720 sq.ft.dual radial reacher,a storm jib and trysail.

The “Macnab” was decked with straight laid 3/4 in. teak over 1/2 in.Bruynzeel,over mahogany beams,clamp shelfe andcarlins are mahoganyand covering board is spanish cedar.The house is solid port orford cedar with 6 oval portlights.Her interior is finished in teak,mahogany,maple and myrtle,alaskan cedar cieling.
All spars are hollow spruce.Stainless standing rigging and 3 strand dacron running rigging.
She is well equipted for cruising with Monitor windvane,windlass,murray winches,watermaker,refrigeration,SS 4 burner and oven,cabin heater,dingy(Trinka) and 12 v.and oil running lights.Depth,knot,log and GPS and vhf and short wave reciever.Lots
of ground tackle including a 75lb Paul Luke fisherman.Sea anchor,solar panels and regulator ,golf cart batts etc.
