This is a very lightly used, top of the line sextant. You can’t get any better then the Cassens and Plath.
The only minor issue with it is the wooden case latches are a bit rusty… they weren’t made for the marine environment…which is a surprising to me. But they function fine.

They sell new for $1600 now. I’d be happy to let this one go for $1200. Save $400 just because of some rusty buckles
