Congratulations on finding a new home for Tortuga, but what do you mean by the "last real Sam Morse built BCC"?
I wasn't aware of any changes to the construction of the BCC after that hull number (87). Or are refering to when the yard changed hands, although I'm pretty sure that change over was very gradual on both occasions and it would hard to say when Sam stopped participating. In any event, I think the very same two guys (until very recently) have pretty much finished all the hulls after they popped from the mold.
I hope you've invited the new owners of Tortuga to participate here where all advice is free and sometimes worth the cost.

I know Tommy and Dick have built all the BCC’s through #118. Those guys are the soul of the “real” boats…Tommy is still
at the yard with a terrific supporting cast of “real” characters.

My apologies to all. I am so sorry to confuse you. Of course
I did not mean to imply that Sam L. Morse is anything less without Sam himself,
only to say that Tortuga was from that by-gone era the late 80s.
Truly,
truly, truly, I am in awe of the workmanship, the care, the skill and talent of
Tommy, and Dick, who indeed have built these beautiful yachts for the past 30
years. Also,
we cant forget the contribution of George Hykema and Roger Olson. Finally,
we must acknowledge Sumio, under whose leadership the same high quality of
construction and craftsmanship continues.
Please
accept my apology of this unintentional error and
thanks to all of you who responded to inform me.
