Can’t believe I am saying this but I think we are headed in a different direction… Contact Cape George Yachts they have a “Pristine” barn find factory finished BCC from 2002 with low engine hours for sale. I have not seen the boat (1 pic on their brokerage site) but those are their words about it. Sounds awesome with some custom features. Add a new Cherub dinghy and go cruising.
I’ve contacted them, yet to hear back.
What do you mean, heading in a different direction?
The other direction is I can’t buy a boat right now due to my wife’s health. I have been looking at BCCs for a long time and I would have jumped at that one. That’s ok, when I am able to buy one I will find one.
I’m sorry to hear about your wife’s health. I probably can’t afford that one anyway, but we’ll see! If they get back to me….
I emailed and called. The boat was sailed a few months, then put up in a barn since. They’re asking $190k. Apparently has a lot of bells and whistles.
Hi Rusty, i havent talked to anyone.about this boat yet, unless im forgetting somethings. can you drop me an email so we can figure out whats up and more importantly make a plan. my impression is the owner is flexible enough in price to maybe even bundle shipping into asking price, although no one has tried to offer yet. Then there must be two people at your brokerage with the same name representing that boat, because I’ve already had a conversation with you about it about two months ago. Regardless, it’s too far away for me to purchase, as you or your twin advised me back then. And I’ve already started the purchase process on another boat.
Hi Rusty, im not finding anyone named Rusty in my email history, maybe drop me a line so we can see what happen there, and also how this boat might fit for you. I’m keen to deliver this boat myself, and will give a great rate as i want to sail the BCC28 more offshore. Also shipping is very resonable these days, compared to a couple years ago. If you’ll email me we can find out who younwere talking to and why they couldn’t help you, because it sure seems like this boat would be great for you! Brian@bviyachtsales.com
It wasn’t here, it was on Facebook.
And read my last sentence in my previous message.
So you are seriously looking for a BCC a Dana 24 and a Flicka 20?
I WAS. Yeah, seriously.
I just put money down on a BCC though. Is there something wrong with liking different boat designs? They all have their advantages and disadvantages. Care to elaborate on your comment?
