For better or worse, the diesel tank fuel vent in our boat is vented to the lazarette, hence we need to vent the tank overboard. I am curious where the fuel vent on other BCC's is located. Venting to the side of the hull does not appear to be a good solution and venting to the top of the transom also has its cons.

Rod,
On Crystal Swan II, hull #95 is vented through the transom.

Hi Rod,
The tank is vented to the transom on our boat. If I were doing it again, I might consider venting to the cockpit well. Yeah, I know, I can here the boos already! But the cockpit location is least likely to result in water in the tank, and is easiest to clean in the event of spew. On the downside, you need to be very careful what is in the cockpit while you’re filling!
