I own a SLM built Falmouth Cutter, hull number 37, and am interested in purchasing a light air headsail for the hot and humid summer days on the Chesapeake and would be interested in the experiences of others regarding this type of sail for the Falmouth Cutter. What size sail works best, should it be constructed of light nylon or medium weight dacron, should it be cut as a drifter or something else, e.g., asymetrical spinnaker or genoa, and what lofts would you recommend for quality work at a reasonable price? There are many good lofts in my hometown of Annapolis, but none that I can find have made a sail for the FC.
