The Office of Coast Survey is testing a potential new product named
the BookletChart™. This innovative product will enable
recreational boaters to print charts at home for no charge. It has
been created to help recreational boaters better navigate and practice
safer transportation on the water. The BookletChart™ is a form of
nautical chart that has been reduced in scale and divided into a
series of pages for convenience, but retains all the information of
the full-scale nautical chart. Currently, Chesapeake Bay
BookletCharts™ are available for evaluation at
