general rendezvous update for Calypso

Hello all:

Countdown is on for our leaving the slip with the hope of making the rendezvous.  We will leave Saturday sometime from Sarah's Creek and head north, possibly doing an overnight to get us closer north early in the week.  Much depends on childrens' sleeping . . . and our own excitement.  Only communication wiull be via VHF, so if anyone is listening and in the area of the rendezvous late next week, give us a shout and we'll hopefully be there!

The adventure is beginning . . .

Yahoo!,

Thank you so much for the update. You are Inspiration! What a great trip and wonderful sailing adventure. And if you can do this trip with your small children, introducing them to a great sailing life, then all of us should get there as well.

I have confirmation from Iduna, Surprise, Aloha and AJ the Falmouth Cutter. I expect Sirius, although Cole seems to be offshore at the moment.

Not sure about Itchen. Patience may not make it&she is Aldonza and has some work to do and far to go.

Anyone else?

Hey Skip and Riki Fritz are coming by land!

Were getting there.

What fun!

Hello Kate and BCC group.  I ( Itchen ) will not be able to make it.  We had a prior commitment from last year which I have been attempting to release myself from.  I hope you  all have a great time.  I know it takes alot ofplanning with the logistics and all ..... I look forward to a repeat of this get together soon--I would be glad to help organize.

We are buying waterfront property on theEastern Branch of the Corrotoman, and will be much closer to the Bay in the future.

Best regards to the group,
Mark Giegel
