Would like to get a half hull made of BCC. Anyone out there know know
where I can get this custom work done? Perhaps the same person who made
the one presented to Lyle Hess?/

It my knowledge there are two half models being made and both are hulls
only:
One is smaller or about 14" long on a slightly longer back board. However,
it is slightly incorrect because it does not carry the hallow of the
Garboard to the waterline at the stem. I assure you that no one would know
the difference. Actually, this is the one we presented to Lyle and I have
on my own boat. This is by Ken Gardner here in Costa Mesa (949) 642-9127
and sell for about $275.
The other is a longer one, or about 22" long on a slightly longer back
board. I have this one on my office wall. It is perfect in every detail
and is sold by Steve De Coux in Long Beach and he is Lyle’s son in law. It
sells for about $350. (562) 595-7923
