Discussions about spilling human waste belowdeck etc, etc. waste a lot
of time and computer space. Would it be possible to elevate these
discussions to a higher level. If someone cannot live with through
hull fittings, maybe a cottage on the lake would be more appropriate.

Thank you !I would think in this forum, the areas of discussion would cover all those
apsects of sailing that people would have questions about, not just limited
to those that you as an individual may think might be appropriate. Way
back in 1789 before through the hull fittings posed a problem, I thought we
settled the question of freedom of speech

Ditto ditto ditto - many cruisers have the same questions, and when you are
trying to make those decisions, there is nothing that is wasted in terms of
time or space. Maybe the next time the discussion you start will have smeone
else feeling the way you do right now, and you’ll be glad they don’t pooh
pooh it.
