I just finished installing a new back cover for the depth sounder meter and bulkhead mounted compass. Because I do not like to waste space on a boat, I incorporated a dry-erase board in the cover. The box is built out of mahogany.
Fair Winds,

P.S. Another sailor told me the last SLM built boat is now berthed in Baltimore. Counting IDUNA that makes two BCC in Baltimore - BBCC
Rod,
Good idea with the dry erase board and use of space.A really great friend of ours told us about the last SLM BCC being in Baltimore. We are in Middle River just around the corner from Baltimore. Sounds like BCC country to me. Anyone else in our neighborhood?
The idea came from Larry Pardey. He built an instrument cover box that held photos or art drawings. I wanted a dry-erase board instead of a box that could hold photos or art drawings.
