Hey Rod,
Glad you enjoyed it – I think it’s kinda boring, and embarressing… but it does show how I did it, albeit in low-fidelity. I need to edit the title to be… “Any Idiot Can Splice, But To Splice Well Takes Years Of Experience, Patience, Brute Force and INTELLIGENCE - None Of Which I Possess”.
Financially, splicing has been cheaper then Sta-Loks. But if time is money, then I’m so far in the RED, it’s not funny. I have enjoyed the process though… even if it sets my launch date back a few weeks. And Myles Thurlow is a great guy to hang with.
I did decide to sta-lok my backstay insulators, which makes sense IMO (4 less splices!)
