I’m trying to get in touch with Wayne and Norma Tillett. They are the
former owners of Seraffyn. I’ve checked with Lin and Larry Pardey, but
they have lost contact also. Does anyone happen to have an email
address or phone number for them?
Mark, Howdy, Just saw this inquiry for the Tillets. Did you ever locate them? I met them in Beaufort NC two years ago on my 26’wooden BCC ‘Osprey’. They showed up at my home port of Belfast MAine this past summer on their westsail 32. I can proably track down their info if you dont have it. I’d ;ove to stay in contact with them. I am also trying to get in touch with Larry PArdey for some interior boat design work…I am redoing my boats interior and am looking for ideas. Thanks.
Bennett, I’ve nothing to add re the Tillets, but we are in the process of moving to to Belfast and our BCC ‘Itchen’ is hauled for the winter at the Belfast Boatyard. If you’d like to get together sometime, send me a private message and I’ll give you a call. Belfast now has three BCC’s!
Regards, Scott (and Dorothy)

As an ex-Westsailor (W28 Hull 11) I regularly peruse their excellent website and listings page for maintenance-type info and came across this last week.
"We purchased Jura not long after selling our 24-foot cutter, Seraffyn, back in 2001. After owning and cruising that lovely wooden cutter the Pardeys so masterfully crafted, we were, shall we say, rather picky regarding a replacement. Seraffyn was tiny and a handful to maintain, so we were looking for a slightly larger boat with a fiberglass hull - albeit one with the ambiance of a wooden boat in its accommodation. "
Thanks very much for the information Bennet and Warren!! Yes, I am still looking
for the Tillett’s but have now found them thanks to your emails. The contacts for
Lin and Larry Pardey is at www.landlpardey.com.
Looks like the Tillett’s have their boat for sale, according to their site.
Scott and Dot, What a small world. I just spoke with Jonathan this morning about getting together with you and he and our boats. He should be in contact with you soon! I’ve tried to contact Larry thru the link you sent but to no avail.
Sounds like fun – we are in the midst of a fairly unstructured move
of much of our household from Maryland to Belfast and so will be back
and forth somewhat unpredictably over the next month or two. Probably
will drive a truck up next week and then be around Belfast for a
while, except for a few days around Christmas. BTW, the Larry-link
was actully from someone else, I have no contact info for them.
