Looking To Buy BCC

All,
I am seriously in the market for a BCC.
I would appreciate help in locating BCC’s
for sale. I would prefer a factory finished
BCC, but all boats will be considered. This
is a serious inquiry. Any and all help or
suggestions will be appreciated. I am looking
forward to becoming an vested member of your
community,

Sincerely

Thomas: We have to sell our beautiful BCC (#28) launched in 1980. The only
problem is that we are located in the Bay of Islands. If that is not an
insurmountable problem for you let us know.

Thomas, my wife and I own “Caylin” #94 which was delivered to us new in June
of 1991. She is a factory finished boat. We are considering putting her on
the market. “Caylin” has an extensive list of equipment and is offshore
ready. I recently installed/added the following: a new ICOM SSB, a CARD
(radar detection system), Para Tech 12’ sea anchor, and a 406 EPIRB. Other
equipment includes a VOLVO 2003 28hp diesel engine, Profurl roller furler
jib, two burner propane stove with oven, Sea Frost Refrigeration system with
shore assist, Cruisair AC, Monitor Windvane, ICOM VHS, Magnavox MX100 GPS
with an extra receiver, AVON 10’ inflatable, dodger, and custom made awning
that basically covers the entire boat. This Spring I hauled her and
discovered some blistering around the waterline. Although it wasn’t
necessary, I had the entire gel coat below the waterline sandblaster off.
The hull was then faired with 3M vinyl ester filler and finally sprayed with
Dura Tech vinyl ester. This is currently the best blister protection you
can have on a fiberglass boat. If you look at the Sam L. Morse website,
you’ll see that they are now building the boats with the Dura Tech vinyl
ester resin below the waterline (as are most other builders of quality
boats). “Caylin” is located in Rockport, Texas. If interested respond by
e-mail, or you can call us at 361- 790-8093.

Sincerely, Geary Smith
