Anyone have a less than velcro idea for mosquito netting for the
skylight, and, even the forward deck house? I used an oak plywood for
the aft hatch opening, and traced the hatch boards over it, then, cut
out the middle, reinforced the screen with batting boards and have a
nice, functional screen for those evenings on the hook, but, I don’t
have the skill to make a good screen for the skylight, and the forward
deckhouse.
my boat came with a set of screens that are just sewn shaped netting with
lead sinkers sewn in the bottom edge to keep them in place. i have not used
them yet, but seems like a great system that does not require holes in the
boat or icky plastic doodads.
