I have just bought Tortuga hull # 87. I am in process of registering
the boat British in the Cayman Islands. Either the boat has to be
remeasured using new formula by a surveyor appointed by the Cayman
Shipping Register people or ABS in Houston need a drawing of
inboard/outboard profile of the hull. I wonder where I can find this
drawing or has any other owner been thru this proceedure?
thanks Tim Hickman
If you go to the USCG website and look at the documentation section you will
find a short form to determine your boats tonnage. I should remember the
BCC’s because I just did it, sadly My short term memory is not what it used
to be.
