Hi folks, I’ve hooked up my rigging to the mast today. This picture is the attachment for the staysail stay. It doesn’t look right the way it’s seated in the tang. Should there be stainless washers to shim the gap and center the toggle? Have I done this wrong? Also, you can see the intermediate shroud above there’s a lot of lateral space around the eye terminal (same with all the shrouds). Is that much play normal? Thanks in advance.
