looking for a good cement/sealer to attach the exhaust elbow etc to the mixing elbow and pipe in between. The last sealer leaked which was disappointing!
Also a good one to attach the elbow itself to the manifold. There is a “lead washer”/gasket that also assist with the coupling at that interface.

This gasket seal was developed for assembly of Rolls Royce jet engines. I have used it instead of a gasket (that wouldn’t seal) to attach an exhaust manifold. You can usually find it for sale on Ebay.
This sealant is also used by numerous race car teams, as it can be reassembled without using additional sealent. It is very sticky gooey stuff. I also use it any time I am attaching a hose to a fitting. Very flexible so it comes apart easily.
