Are the fenders rigged so that they can also be used on the outside of the gunwales as a flotation collar?
Greg, yes removing the plywood floor makes the dinghy significantly lighter. Roger Olson, the dinghy’s designer did this on his Cherub and put moved the flotation on the outside while using it in Panama
