staysail cleat on cabin top

I am replacing the rubber “winchers” (self-tailing) with heresshoff bronze cleats. The parts list on the builder’s manual suggests that 8’ cleats were used, but the other cleats on the boat are 10" for the same diameter lines. What size cleats have builders actually installed on the BCC28?

Zygote (BCC116, built in 1999-2000 by Sam L Morse Co) has nominal 6 inch (148.5 mm by tape measure) four-hole open base Herreshoff bronze cleats at the secondary winches on the coach roof for handling the staysail sheets.

Zy has nominal 8" (205 mm by tape measure Herreshoff cleats mounted on the cockpit coamings to handle the headsail sheets.

On Zy, we use 0.5" diameter sheets for all sails. The primary sheet winches (handling the headsail sheets, whether the overlapping genoa or the jib topsail) and the secondary sheet winches (handling the staysail sheets) are all self-tailing.
