I got a color chart from Sterling, looks like Cloud White is the closest match to the BCC hull color. Can anyone confirm?
Ben,
Roger said that he had a custom paint made for the BCC called BCC Ivory. I called Sterling last year and their distributor in Calif and they were not helpful. Evidently there is a new owner of the distributor and he could not find the color formula. let me know if you have any luck.

I don’t know where this thread has been but,if it is regards painting bulwarks and other working wood, I used a dark blue sterling LP on the outside of my bulwarks where things don’t bash around much. The insides are a Z-Spar emamel, Hatteras Off White P/N 14000. Very close to the standard BCC gel color and much easier to touch-up than LP.

Rich,
Yeah I called Sterling too, and they were helpless. I had to have West Marine call them for me, since Sterling said basically “we dont talk to joe shmoes”. So the bottom line, after WM called for me, is that they don’t have the formula for “BCC Ivory” and can’t make it. They sent me the color chart, so I can pick the closest match. This cloud white looks VERY close, and I think I’m going to order some. Rich, regarding your post from a few years ago about touching up your bulwarks, what did you end up doing?
Tom,
I like your idea about the inside of bulwarks EZ touch up paint scheme… I had noted that from another post.
Ben,
The guy who worked on my brightwork had a color that matched well. It was only a small area so it wasn’t a big deal.
