I was recently buying teak at Florida Teak in West Palm and the owner told me he found the best teak protector. Thought I would share, I have not used the product yet.

It is the best that I have found. Use their teak cleaner, then lightly sand after to prep for the sealer. I did not sand the first time, and it did not hold up as long. Then, put at least three coats of the sealer on to get a good base coat to work with. You cannot apply too much of this product, and the application goes really fast. You can recoat after 1 hour, and it needs to stay dry for 24 hours.
Is this stuff clear? Or tinted? Any chance you can share some photos of teak treated with this stuff?
Cheers,
Jeremy

Clear. After it dries, you can’t tell that it had been coated. Unlike oil, when coated, it looks like dry, unfinished teak. Sorry, I don’t have any pics.
