Hello-
Another sailing crowd I was in used to have a mid-winter land
based get together. It was a Chesapeake based group and we would
gather at Solomon Island, MD for a weekend (actually a Saturady
afternoon/Sunday breakfast). A good chance for a sailing related
activity while boats are laid up. Anyone interested in something
along those lines?

I'd say count Calypso in! Given enough notice, we could possibly get childcare for our little ones, which would make the thing a vacation for us too! Yes, yes, yes - what a fun idea!

Sounds like you had lots of interest for your idea. Are you going to organize it? Or is someone near to the SOlomon's area game? Would love to statrt thinking about such a time early as the earlier we think the more likely we are to get child care . . .
