Hello All - I am looking for staysail winches for sale. I think SLM used bronze finish Harken B8 single speed winches on some boats. Those can be had from Defender for $244/ea. Please contact me if you have something similar for sale; matched pair; bronze finish preferred.

Hello All - Does anyone have the Harken B8B winches on their boat? I can’t find a picture of this actual winch anywhere. I’m wondering about the materials used. The current model Harken B8 is a B8BBA - where the BBA part indicates bronze base, bronze drum, and aluminum top. I’m not keen on the the idea of an aluminum top. I’m not sure if the prior model (B8B) had a bronze or aluminum top. If you have either model I’d be interested in your comments - and a picture if possible.
